Warp Knitting Machine Parts
Sinker Units
Cast sinker units that hold the fabric during knock-over.
What This Part Does On The Machine
The sinker does two jobs. It holds the fabric down while the needle rises so the old loop does not lift with it, and its nose supports the loop during knock-over. On a tricot machine the sinker bar moves forward and back on every course, in time with the needle.
A worn or bent sinker lets the fabric lift, and the machine presses off. Because the sinker nose is thin and works against the fabric on every course, sinker units are among the highest wear items on the machine and are stocked as a running spare.
Where It Is Used

12 parts listedSinker Units FAQ
The machine presses off at one place across the width. What should I check?
A bent or broken sinker at that position is the usual cause. Replace the unit rather than straightening the sinker.
How many sinker units does a machine take?
It depends on the working width and the gauge. Tell us the machine type and working width and we will work out the quantity for a full bar.
How do I confirm the part fits my machine?
Send the machine brand, the machine type and the gauge together with a photograph of the old part. Where a number is cast or stamped on the part, send that as well. We match against the reference used on this site and confirm before anything is produced or shipped.
Can you supply a small quantity?
Yes. The original company statement is that quick delivery is done for any order, even for a small order size. Send the quantity you actually need and we will quote it.
Which countries do you ship to?
Products have been exported worldwide, covering Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
How do I get a price?
Send the part reference, the gauge and the quantity by WhatsApp or email to [email protected] and we will come back with a quotation.
