Tension Is Set At The Creel

Every end in the warp sheet has to arrive at the beam at the same tension. A yarn tensioner puts a controlled drag on a single end so that it does. If one tensioner is worn or set differently, that end runs slack, knits a longer loop and leaves a mark down the whole piece.

The original description for the yarn tensioner range states that it is used on warp knitting machines such as Karl Mayer and KFD knitting machines. Stopping The Machine In Time
