Engineering Solutions
From the first duty point to qualified series supply. What we actually do at each stage of a thermoelectric project, and what we need from you to do it well.
The Whole Chain
We Start Further Back Than Most Module Suppliers
Because we grow and cut our own thermoelectric material, a problem that would normally be answered with a substitution can be answered with a change to the part itself.
Design And Selection
Turning A Problem Statement Into A Part Number
- We start from the hot side, because it decides everything else
- Parasitic loads are counted, not assumed, on small assemblies
- Catalogue codes are shortlisted by footprint first and electrical window second
- Where the catalogue does not fit, we say so rather than selling the nearest code
- If thermoelectric is the wrong technology for the duty, we will tell you that too
Custom Development
When The Catalogue Is Close But Not Right
Prototyping And Tooling
Aluminium substrate tooling in one to two weeks, ceramic in about four weeks. Custom element sizes are welcome at material level.
Material Selection
Bi2Te3 for cooling duty and low temperature generation, PbTe for intermediate temperature generation up to 850 K.
Process Selection
Solder class chosen for the hot side: maximum 139, 183, 235, 320 or 500 °C, with nickel and stannum electroplating.
Substrate Choice
Alumina ceramic for the widest size range, aluminium at 122 W/(m·K) for efficiency and breakage free robustness.
Sealing
Vacuum anti-humidity process and silicone gel sealing, or unsealed if you specify it.
Packaging And Logistics
Bulk in foam boxes, or taped reels designed to mount on SMT and SMD machines for automatic lines.
Quality Control
Every Module Is Tested Before It Leaves The Line
Quality control runs from raw material procurement through crystal growth, pellet selection and module assembly to the dispatch of the finished product. All products are 100 % tested and inspected using test equipment sourced from an American thermoelectric company.
ISO 9001
Quality management system certified
SGS
European Union certification held by the manufacturing company
RoHS
All thermoelectric modules are RoHS compliant
100 % tested
Every module is tested and inspected before dispatch

Solutions By Problem
Common Situations And What We Do About Them
The catalogue module does not fit the space
We change the footprint and height while keeping the electrical rating, or change the couple count to keep the electrical rating in a smaller outline.
Ceramic modules keep cracking in the field
Move to an aluminium substrate module. It is metallic and breakage free, and it also raises efficiency by 30 to 50 % in the same footprint.
Cooling is far below the datasheet
Almost always the hot side or the interface. Send us the measured hot side temperature and the current draw and we will find where the performance went.
The supply does not match any catalogue code
We change the number of couples so Vmax and Imax land on the rail you already have, without adding a converter to your bill of materials.
A single stage cannot reach the temperature
First we look at whether the hot side or the parasitic loads can be improved. If not, a cascaded multi-stage module is designed around your duty point.
The previous supplier discontinued the part
Send the dimensions and the electrical rating and we will tell you honestly whether we can match it, improve it or offer a better catalogue alternative.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Working With Us
What do you need from me to start?
The duty point: heat load in watts, the temperature you need to hold, the hot side arrangement, the space envelope and the supply voltage. With those five items we can usually name part numbers in the first reply.
How long does a custom part take?
Aluminium substrate tooling takes one to two weeks, ceramic about four weeks, then sample modules for your rig test before production release.
Do you use a web form?
No. Message us on WhatsApp or send an e-mail. Both go to the engineering desk and are answered within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 Beijing time.
Will you tell me if thermoelectric is the wrong answer?
Yes. If the heat load or the required ΔT is outside what a thermoelectric solution does well, we would rather say so than sell a module that will disappoint.
Can you support a long programme?
We grow, cut and grade our own material and test every module, which is the main reason a part stays consistent over years. Tell us the programme lifetime at the design stage.
Start With The Duty Point
Heat load, temperatures, envelope and supply. Send those four and you will get part numbers, not a brochure.
No forms. Messages reach our engineering desk directly. Reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 Beijing time.
