Artos chain built with self-lubricating PEEK sliders instead of copper.
The same Artos oil-free guide chain assembly, built with PEEK sliders in place of copper. PEEK resin is a high performance thermoplastic with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, self-lubrication, low noise, corrosion resistance and high strength, and it is widely used in textile machinery for exactly these reasons.
The rest of the assembly is unchanged: connectors, U-shaped connectors, pins, PEEK bushes, PEEK dust cover screws and wear sleeves, on high quality bearings.

PEEK against copper: PEEK is self-lubricating, quieter and longer lasting, but it wants a rail in good condition. Copper is more forgiving of a defective rail and conducts heat away. The rail condition decides this, not the price list.
Inspect and if necessary dress the guide rail before fitting PEEK sliders
Fit complete sections for uniform running
Clean the guide and chain at least once a year even with self-lubricating sliders
Use a high temperature grease on the bearing side
Track slider thickness at each service to confirm the expected wear rate
Polyether ether ketone resin, a high performance thermoplastic with high temperature resistance, wear resistance, self-lubrication, low noise, corrosion resistance and high strength. It is widely used in textile machinery.
The sliders are self-lubricating, but the chain still needs its annual clean and a high temperature grease on the bearing side.
Yes. We sell PEEK sliders for Artos chains separately.
It needs to be in good condition. PEEK does not tolerate a scored rail as well as copper does.
Yes: connectors, U-shaped connectors, pins, PEEK bushes, PEEK dust cover screws and wear sleeves on high quality bearings.
Sliders within 7 days; full chains confirmed at quotation.

Seat profiles and geometry changed across frame generations, so the part itself is more reliable than a model number. We identify it and quote the matching specification.
