Backlit LED Letters 03
Reception walls and facades where the brand colour should appear as light on the wall, not on the letter.
View specificationWe build the letters that go on shopfronts, lobbies and building facades: fabricated stainless steel, powder coated aluminium, solid brass, cut acrylic, and frontlit, backlit and edge-lit LED channel letters. Send an AI, EPS or CDR file and a size, and you get a quote rather than a catalogue.
Every product on this site is one of three constructions. Knowing which one you need is most of the specification, and it is the first thing we ask about on an enquiry.
Sheet metal folded into a face and a return, soldered or welded into a closed box, then brushed, polished, painted, powder coated or electroplated. Light enough to hang at large sizes, and the only practical way to make a metal letter over about 300mm.
02The same fabricated box, but with waterproof LED inside. Light through an acrylic face, onto the wall behind, or out through the cut edge of solid acrylic. The internal LED we use is CE, RoHS and UL approved.
03One piece of material cut to shape, with no return and no cavity. Water jet cut brass, flat cut stainless, CNC routed acrylic and PVC. Used where the letter is small, close to the viewer, or has to feel solid.
Every product below is photographed in our own workshop and carries the specification we quote from. The full catalogue is on one page, unpaginated.

View specificationA mall fascia, a hotel lobby and a salon shopfront are not the same job. Each of these pages starts from what limits the build in that setting.
Retail signage is bought against a landlord specification, a fit-out date and a fascia that already exists. Those three constraints decide the build more often than the design does.
IndustryHospitality signage is read at night, at close range, and in rooms whose lighting has already been designed. The sign has to join that lighting scheme rather than fight it.
IndustryA reception wordmark is looked at from two metres by people with nothing else to do. Every seam, every kerning error and every uneven reflection is visible.
IndustryVehicle brand signage is sculptural. The mark is usually a formed shape rather than a letterform, and that changes both the price and the lead time before anything else is decided.
IndustryProfessional practices usually arrive with a serif wordmark, a fixed corporate colour and a building they do not own. All three narrow the build considerably.
IndustrySmall independent venues order small quantities of small letters, read from close up, on walls that were not built for signage. That is a different problem from a mall fascia.
Most of what a sign buyer loses on an overseas order is not the unit price. It is what happens around it.
A JPEG of a logo is not a colour specification. We work from a Pantone or RAL code confirmed before production, and the code goes on the order so the same number is used again on a repeat batch.
Every fabricated order ships with a 1:1 scale mounting template and the fixing accessories, so the installer sets out from paper instead of measuring on a ladder.
There is no minimum order quantity here. A single replacement letter is a normal order, and so is a full fascia.
Curved 3D logos cost more and take longer than flat letters. Gold plating is recommended for indoors. Coloured acrylic cuts light output. Those constraints are written on the product pages, not discovered after the deposit.
These are the facts a buyer can check against the specification on any product page in this catalogue.
304 and 316 stainless steel, aluminium alloy, brass and bronze, solid acrylic in 20, 25 and 30mm, and PVC. The grade is stated on every product page.
Brushed, satin, polished and mirror on stainless; anodising on aluminium; powder coating and wet paint to a Pantone or RAL code; electroplated gold for interior work.
Five to seven days production on most fabricated and channel letters, seven to ten days on lightboxes and thick acrylic builds, then four to five days on DHL or UPS express.
T/T, Western Union and PayPal. PayPal matters when the order is one letter and a bank transfer costs more than the goods.
What is not on this page: production capacity, export country counts, factory certification numbers and years in business. We have no documents published to support those figures, so they are marked TBC on the about page rather than estimated here.
Five stages, with the two numbers that decide your delivery date: the production window and the express transit time.
Production is 5 to 7 days on most fabricated and channel letters and 7 to 10 days on lightboxes, flag signs and thick solid acrylic. Artwork approval time is yours, and it is the stage most often forgotten when a handover date is set.
Everything in this catalogue can be made for outdoor use. What changes outdoors is the grade, the construction and the fixing, and those decisions are made before production rather than after.
SolutionA halo is produced by the wall, not by the letter. Four decisions control the result and only one of them is about the letter itself.
SolutionA JPEG of a logo is not a colour specification. Every colour route in this catalogue starts with a Pantone or RAL code confirmed before production begins.
SolutionThere is no minimum order quantity anywhere in this catalogue. That is a real commercial position, not a slogan, and it changes how small jobs get handled.
SolutionThe freight stage is where most overseas sign orders lose their schedule. These are the actual windows we work to and what travels in the carton.
These describe how a specific catalogue product is made and what constrains it. They are production records, not client testimonials, and no customer names are used.

The mark is a sculpted shape with a continuous curved surface. Folded sheet construction cannot produce it, and flat cutting would lose the three-dimensional reading entirely.
Read the build study
The brand colour had to appear at night without the letter face glowing, so the sign reads as solid brushed metal in daylight and as a coloured outline after dark.
Read the build study
The wording is read from close range on a brushed metal backing plate, where a fabricated letter's return and soldered seam would have dominated the small letterforms.
Read the build study
The sign had to sit on one brand colour during trading hours and run a colour sequence in the evening, from a single installation and a single power feed.
Read the build study
The venue is read by people walking along the street rather than standing in front of it, so a flat fascia sign would have been invisible until the customer had already passed.
Read the build study
The interior needed a glowing outline rather than a lit face, in a space where a frontlit letter would have read as a light fitting.
Read the build studyEight guides covering the decisions that change the price, the lead time or the look of the finished letter.

Three ways of putting light into a metal letter, and the one question that separates them: where do you want the light to come out?
Read the guide
The grade question has a short answer that depends almost entirely on how close the sign is to salt water.
Read the guide
The construction decision is usually made by the letter height, and getting it wrong is visible from two metres away.
Read the guideThe artwork as an AI, EPS or CDR vector file, the finished letter height, the material and finish you want, and whether it is illuminated. With those four things we can quote without a back-and-forth.
No. We accept any order quantity, including a single letter. Shipping cost per letter falls sharply once several travel in the same carton, so it is worth ordering a full word at once if you can.
Most fabricated metal letters and LED channel letters run 5 to 7 days in production. Lightboxes, edge-lit builds and thick solid acrylic run 7 to 10 days. Express shipping adds roughly 4 to 5 days door to door.
Yes, from a Pantone or RAL code supplied before production. We can paint or powder coat metal to the code. For acrylic faces, standard colours are stocked and a specific brand colour is achieved by applying film to the acrylic.
The internal waterproof LED used in our channel letters is described by our supplier as CE, RoHS and UL approved. That applies to the LED module, not to the finished sign as an assembly.
Depending on the product: back stud fixing, back screw bolt, 3M double-sided adhesive tape, or a PVC or foam backing. Every fabricated order includes a 1:1 scale mounting template and the fixing accessories.
Email a vector file with the finished letter height, the material and finish, and whether it lights up. That is everything we need to quote exactly.
