Split Core And Clamp On Current Transformers
Openable core current transformers that install on a live cable or busbar without breaking the primary circuit. Square, ring, clamp and outdoor waterproof bodies, 5 A to 5000 A primary, 5 A, 1 A, mA or 333 mV secondary.

Retrofitting metering into a running plant normally means an outage: a conventional CT has to be threaded onto the conductor. A split core opens, closes around the cable and is wired live, so the sub metering job stops costing production time.
