Can you make a protection CT to our drawing?
Yes. Customised and tape wound protection cores are part of the PR range, including wind turbine geometry. Send the drawing by email or WhatsApp.
Why a Rogowski coil on an inverter output?
There is no core to saturate, so the measurement stays linear through inverter transients and the coil bends around the laminated bus that a rigid CT cannot fit.
What limits fault current when generation is added?
A current limiting reactor. It raises system impedance enough to keep the prospective fault current inside the interrupting rating of the switchgear you already own.
