LXK Zero Sequence Split Core Current Transformer
Rated primary current 50 A to 600 A
Rated secondary current 5 A or 1 A
Electrical fires start as leakage current long before they start as heat. A high permeability nickel or nanocrystalline core sees milliamps of residual current, which is what a fire monitoring system needs to raise an alarm early.
Fire monitoring residual open and close type current transformer with a high magnetic permeability nickel steel or nanocrystalline core, for electrical fire monitoring systems.
Both open (K suffix) and closed bodies are published so the transformer can be added to an existing cable run or built into new switchgear.
Specification available on request.

Residual monitoring measures the small imbalance left when all phase and neutral currents are summed. That signal is tiny, so the core needs very high permeability and very low remanence. Nanocrystalline and high nickel alloys give both; silicon steel does not.
They are two body families in the same residual monitoring range, with open type variants carrying the K suffix. Send the cable diameter and the monitoring unit you use and an engineer will confirm.
Yes, using the open type (K) bodies.
