Dakings manufactures cumyl hydroperoxide at 80% and 88% content and dicumyl peroxide at above 99% purity. These are the initiators that start styrene and butadiene polymerisation and the crosslinker that vulcanises rubber and crosslinks polyolefins. Because the Jinshan base is ours, the active oxygen figure on your certificate is the figure our own lab measured.

Peroxide buyers lose batches to two things: active oxygen that drifts between lots, and a supplier who cannot say what the SADT and alarm temperature are. Both of those are decomposition risks you carry in your own warehouse.

Organic Peroxides Buying Questions
What is the difference between your CHP L-80 and CHP L-90 grades?
L-80 is supplied at 80-85% content with 8.41-8.94% actual active oxygen, an SADT of 65 °C and a 10-hour half-life temperature of 145 °C. L-90 is supplied at 88±1% content with 9.14-9.46% active oxygen, an SADT of 70 °C and a 10-hour half-life of 140 °C. L-90 carries more oxygen per kilogram; L-80 is the more forgiving of the two in storage.
What packing do the peroxides ship in?
Cumyl hydroperoxide ships in 25 kg HDPE drums, 200 kg HDPE buckets or 1000 kg IBC. Dicumyl peroxide is cartoned at 4x5 kg per bag. Other packing can be arranged against your own handling equipment.
What storage temperature do you specify?
Cumyl hydroperoxide should be held in a dedicated cool dry ventilated warehouse between -30 °C and 40 °C. Dicumyl peroxide should be stored below 30 °C and kept out of direct sunlight.
What must never be stored next to these products?
Keep cumyl hydroperoxide away from reducing agents, accelerators, sulphur and phosphorus, which can form explosive mixtures with it. Keep dicumyl peroxide away from reducing agents, acids, bases and heavy metal compounds.
Can you supply SDS and COA before shipment?
Yes. SDS and COA are issued for every peroxide lot. Ask on WhatsApp or by email and we send the current batch documents so your EHS team can clear the material before it is on the water.
