Essential Oil Extraction Machine

Steam distillation plants from 10L to 50L for flowers, leaves, wood, citrus peel, resin and spice.

Steam distillation is still the most widely used route to natural essential oil. Steam is raised under the plant bed, carries the volatile oil out of the cell structure, and the vapour mixture is condensed and separated into oil and hydrosol. Because heat transfer is indirect through thermal oil, the plant bed reaches distillation temperature quickly without scorching, and a vacuum pump can be added when a lower boiling point is needed for delicate flowers.

Questions About Essential Oil Extraction

Which plants can be processed by steam distillation?
Flowers such as rose, lavender, ylang ylang, chamomile, neroli and geranium; plants such as rosemary, citronella and lemongrass; citrus such as lemon, orange, bergamot, grapefruit and lime; leaves such as eucalyptus, mugwort, patchouli, peppermint and pine needle; woods such as sandalwood, agarwood, cedarwood and wintergreen; resins such as frankincense and myrrh; and others including cinnamon, pepper, fennel and ginger.
Can the pot volume be changed?
Yes. The volume of the distillation pot is built according to the demand of the customer.
How many people are needed to operate the machine?
One person can operate the distillation plant. The layout and the control panel are arranged for single-operator running.
Can you test our raw material first?
Yes. An extraction test can be run with your raw material, and videos and pictures of the trial are sent to you for reference.
