Product Overview
The BETTER HEC50 essential oil extract machine is used in the production of Chinese medicines, health products, biological drugs, cosmetics and food. It uses technology and chemical separation to extract plant components efficiently by steam distillation, and has a good effect on collecting essential oil from plants.
At 50L it is the largest steam distillation plant in the standard range, and it is the one most often specified for lavender, where the harvest window is short and the batch has to be turned around quickly.
The heat exchange is sized to match. The plant carries 0.50m2 of heating area, 0.85m2 of condensing area and a separate 0.80m2 cooling area, driven by an 11kW supply at 380V 50Hz three phase.

Materials And Construction
Wetted parts on the supercritical CO2 systems are stainless steel throughout: pipe parts, valves and pipelines. Laboratory vessels are borosilicate glass 3.3, also known as GG-17. Pressure vessels are designed to the related national standard and rule demand and carry an overpressure protection system with sufficient safety valves.

Customization Options
Machines are supplied from 0.5L to 200L, and a larger capacity machine can be customised according to your request. On the distillation plants the volume of the pot is built according to the demand of the customer. Use Guide
- 1Load the wilted lavender or herb charge evenly into the 50L pot.
- 2Start heating and bring the charge to distillation temperature.
- 3Run the condenser and cooling circuits before vapour reaches the column.
- 4Collect oil and hydrosol, then separate the two phases.
- 5Empty and clean the pot before the next charge to keep the aroma profile clean.
