Supercritical CO2 extraction uses carbon dioxide held above its critical point as the solvent. In that state CO2 behaves like a liquid dense enough to dissolve resins, waxes and volatile oils, yet it still diffuses through the plant bed like a gas. When the pressure is released in the separator the CO2 turns back into gas and leaves the extract behind, so the finished oil carries no residual solvent and no solvent recovery step is needed downstream.

Yes. CO2 is used in circulation inside the system rather than consumed on every batch.
What materials can be processed on a CO2 extraction machine?
The CO2 extraction machines are used for hemp oil, wheat embryo oil, fish oil, tobacco essential oil, Arteannuin, Sundrops oil, Gingerol, Pepper haematochrome, Hops extract and Agarwood oil, among others.
What size machines are available?
Machines from 0.5L to 200L are supplied. Larger capacities can be customised against your process requirement.
How are the pressure vessels designed?
Pressure vessels are designed to the related national standard and rule demand, with an overpressure protection system, which means sufficient safety valves.
How long does production take?
The process flow of a supercritical CO2 extraction machine is complex. Production generally takes about 60 workdays, because every procedure and detail is inspected before the machine leaves the workshop.
