Stainless LNG Liquid Natural Gas Cryogenic Storage Vessel
Stainless cryogenic LNG vessel with double-cylinder vacuum insulation and a rear operation box.
View Specification52.6cbm LNG tanker with an S30408 stainless tank, aluminium alloy main beam and 6 tonne curb weight.

A three-axle LNG tanker with a 52.6 cubic metre S30408 stainless tank at 0.68MPa design pressure, on an aluminium alloy main beam that brings the curb weight down to 6 tonnes. That is a significant saving on a cryogenic trailer, where the vacuum insulation itself is heavy and the chassis usually eats into payload. The end plate is 6mm in 30408 or Q345R, braking is dual line pneumatic, the kingpin is an interchangeable 2 or 3.5 inch, landing gear is a 28 tonne two-speed manual unit, and suspension is leaf spring or air bag. A vapour recovery system is available as a customer option and the finish can be original aluminium or painted.

| Compared With | How This Model Differs |
|---|---|
| Steel-chassis LNG tanker | The aluminium alloy main beam saves several tonnes of tare, which is payload on every trip; steel costs less to buy and repair. |
| LPG pressure tanker | LNG requires cryogenic insulation at -160 degrees and below; LPG is carried under pressure at ambient temperature in a much simpler vessel. |
| Smaller cryogenic vessel | 52.6cbm is a full commercial load; smaller vessels suit local distribution with tighter access. |

52.6 cubic metres at 0.68MPa design pressure, with a welded joint coefficient of 1.
The main beam is aluminium alloy rather than steel. On a cryogenic trailer, where the insulated vessel is inherently heavy, that saving goes straight to payload.
S30408 stainless for the tank body, with a 6mm end plate in 30408 or Q345R.
Yes. The kingpin is an interchangeable type in 2 or 3.5 inch, so the trailer is not locked to one fifth wheel size.
Yes, as a customer option. It is worth specifying where boil-off must be captured rather than vented.
Both are available. Air bag gives a gentler ride for the vessel on paved roads; leaf spring is simpler to repair.
You can have it in original aluminium finish or painted to your requirement.
