What This System Is For
Three moulded patterns and one cast-iron insert cover every room in a pig house. The LW slot pattern moves heavier manure in grow-finish rooms, the LWD fine gap protects piglet feet in nursery pens, the LWS waterdrop pattern drains from the whole panel surface for fast washdown, and cast iron goes in where wear and weight are highest.
All three plastic series share the same 600 mm module and the same beam mounting, so one room can be floored in one pattern and the next in another without changing beams, brackets or edge details.

Which slat pattern should I use in a nursery room?
The LWD fine-gap series. Its narrower gap and denser rib field support a weaned piglet's foot while still draining the pen.
How do I know what beam spacing to build?
The last digits of the slat code are the span in millimetres — LW6040 spans 400 mm, LWD6070 spans 700 mm.
Can I get slats in a specific colour?
Yes. Colour is produced to customer requirement; blue, green and orange are the standard mouldings.
How many slats fit in a container?
It depends on the code — roughly 4,480 pieces of LW6040 or 5,500 pieces of LWD6040 in a 40 ft, with higher counts in a high cube.
