Pans or dosing cups?
Pans for ad-lib feeding of growing pigs; volumetric dosing cups where each sow needs a measured ration.
How do I stop feed ending up on the slat?
Fit an anti-bridge hopper and a trumpet drop pipe, and set the pan so feed is present but not heaped.
What water pressure do the drinkers need?
Set the regulator to the drinker manufacturer's figure and verify flow at the last drinker on the run. Send your drinker type and we will advise.
Which drinker for which stage?
Float bowls for sows and finishers, bite cups for nursery and grow-finish, low-flow transparent cups in creep areas.
