Product Overview
The LWS slat replaces the straight gap with a field of rounded waterdrop perforations. Liquid leaves the surface from every point of the panel rather than only along the slot lines, which is why it is the pattern most often chosen for rooms that are washed between batches.
It is supplied in green and orange as standard and in spans from 300 to 600 mm, including the 600×300 mm panel used to make up a run against a crate or a feed line.

Materials and Manufacturing
Injection-moulded polypropylene. The Waterdrop (LWS) Plastic Slat is injection-moulded on JGM's own presses in Ningbo. Polypropylene granulate is dried, dosed and shot into a steel tool, so the part that leaves the press is the part the tool was cut for — there is no secondary forming stage where the dimension can drift. Colour is added as masterbatch at the press, which is why colour goes all the way through the part instead of sitting on it as a coating.

Installing and Running It
Step 1
Set beams to the span in the code before the panels arrive on site.
Step 2
Lay full panels first and use LWS6030 to make up the last strip.
Step 3
Direct the wash gun along the panel, not across it, so water carries manure into the pit.
Step 4
Inspect perforations after each wash cycle in rooms fed with fine meal; a brush pass clears any blocked holes.
