Key Benefits

What This Model Gives You

Up to 120 mm²

Covers the power and distribution cable sections that a small chamber welder cannot reach.

Pneumatic Clamping and Pushing

Consistent clamping force and feed rate across a large section, which is what makes the joint repeatable.

50 kVA Available

Enough power to bring a 120 mm² conductor to plastic condition in one cycle.

Quartz Crucible

A transparent chamber the operator can see through, with a 1300 °C softening point.

Application Scenarios

Where It Is Used

  • Power and distribution cable conductor
  • Large stranded and sector-shaped conductor
  • Aluminium and copper cable jointing
  • Insulation extrusion feed for heavy cable

Industries

Problems It Solves

Why Buyers Specify It

  • A large conductor break stops an extrusion line for hours
  • Mechanical clamping loses consistency at 120 mm²
  • Ceramic crucibles crack under the thermal shock of a heavy section

Compared With Other Models

The HD016 covers 1.0-16.0 mm² mechanically from a single phase 220 V supply at 80 kg. The HD120 is the pneumatic three-phase machine for 35.0-120 mm² at 190 kg.

Use Guide

How It Is Set Up and Run

  1. Fit the quartz crucible sized to the conductor.
  2. Set the clamping air pressure for the section.
  3. Load both conductor ends so they meet inside the crucible.
  4. Run the cycle, shatter the crucible, and dress the joint before the extruder.
Customisation and Supply

What Is Built to Order

Dies to Your Wire

Dies are manufactured for wire between 0.10 mm and 25.0 mm to suit round or profile wire and rod, to the customer's own specification, at -1% / +2% of the wire diameter.

Your Electrical Supply

On the motorised and hydraulic machines, operating voltage is built to the industrial supply of the destination country. State voltage, phase and frequency with the order.

Export Packing

Machines are packed in a strong wooden or plywood case as stated per model. Carry cases are supplied with the portable welders and the DA10.
