Welding Consumables Matched to the Steel You Actually Weld
AKWELD is ANCHOR WELD (WUHAN) TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD, a Chinese manufacturer of covered electrodes, solid and flux cored wire, SAW wire and flux. Every grade here is published with its classification, chemical composition and mechanical properties, so your welding engineer can assess it before you buy it.
Filler Metals From Carbon Steel Through to Nickel Alloy
Consumable families that cover manual, semi-automatic and mechanised welding. Where the base metal dictates the chemistry, that chemistry is on the page before you enquire.

Welding Wire
Solid and flux-cored wires for MIG, TIG, FCAW and submerged arc welding across carbon steel, weathering steel, stainless, aluminium, copper and nickel

Welding Electrodes
Covered stick electrodes for manual metal arc welding - carbon and low alloy steel, stainless, nickel alloy and cast iron grades.

Welding Flux
Sintered and agglomerated submerged arc fluxes, characterised by basicity and matched to specific wire grades.

Welding and Brazing Rods
TIG filler rods and brazing rods for copper alloys, cast iron and dissimilar metal joints.

Submerged Arc Welding Wire
SAW wire supplied to match AKWELD fluxes for heavy plate, pressure vessel and pipe mill welding.

Welding Machines
Welding power sources supplied on request alongside AKWELD consumables.
Grades Buyers Ask For Most
Each card opens the full datasheet: classification, composition, mechanical properties and the welding parameters published by the factory.

Three Things That Go Wrong When Consumables Are Bought on Price Alone
The Filler Does Not Match the Code
A wire that runs beautifully still fails procedure qualification if the deposited metal cannot reach the impact energy your code asks for at temperature. Every AKWELD grade publishes its mechanical properties, so that comparison happens before the test plate, not after it.
Grades Come From Four Different Suppliers
Carbon steel from one mill, stainless from another, nickel alloy from a trader. Different paperwork, different lead times, four sets of incoming inspection. AKWELD covers 245 grades across those families through one technical contact.
Nobody Answers the Selection Question
Most enquiries are really a selection problem: which grade for this base metal, this process, this service temperature. That is a conversation with a welding technician rather than a price list, and it is where we start.
