What This Covers
Pattern making is the slowest and most expensive part of a first casting order. We hold thousands of ready-made patterns, so parts we have cast before go straight into production — no pattern cost, no pattern lead time.
How The Work Actually Runs
Every stage below happens inside our own works, under one QC department, which is why a problem found at one stage can still be corrected at the next.
Identification
Give us the part number, the machine model, or a photograph. We check it against the pattern inventory.
Confirmation
If the pattern is held, we confirm the geometry and the material grade with you before moulding.
Direct to production
Moulding starts immediately. The pattern-making stage is skipped entirely.
Melting
Poured from 5 t intermediate frequency furnaces using bottom-pouring ladles, with samples taken for analysis.
Heat treatment
Quenched within 30 seconds of furnace withdrawal in the 2,000 m³ stirred pool.
Machining and inspection
Machined to drawing, dimensionally inspected and packed on steel pallets.

How do I find out whether you hold my pattern?
Send the part number or the machine model with your enquiry. The model lists on each category page show much of what we already cover.
Does holding the pattern reduce the price?
It removes the pattern-making cost from the order, which on a first-time part is a significant part of the total.
What if you do not hold it?
We quote the pattern with the job and build it in our own shop, working from your drawing, sample or a 3D scan.
