HSI Crusher Parts
Blow bars in manganese, chrome, ceramic-insert and TIC-insert configurations for horizontal shaft impactors.
Every HSI Crusher Casting We Make
Blow bar choice is a direct trade-off between wear life and the risk of a bar breaking in the rotor. We cast the full range — manganese Mn13 to Mn22Cr3 for tramp-heavy feed, 20% and 26% chromium for abrasive clean rock, and Cr26 or martensitic bodies with ceramic inserts and manganese with TIC inserts where the duty justifies it. All to the balance and fixing dimensions of the original bar.

Impact Crusher Side Liner
Chamber side protection that keeps the impactor housing out of the wear path
View Part →What Usually Goes Wrong And What We Do About It
- Chrome bars cracking when steel or rebar enters an impactor
- Manganese bars wearing away far too quickly on clean abrasive rock
- Unbalanced bar sets that shake the rotor and shorten bearing life
- Bars supplied to nominal dimensions that will not seat in the rotor pocket

The Operations That Buy These Castings
- Aggregate producers running primary and secondary impactors
- Concrete and asphalt recyclers with tramp metal in the feed
- Demolition contractors on mobile impact plant
- Dealers supplying blow bars across several impactor brands

HSI Crusher Parts Questions
Manganese or chrome blow bars — which should I run?
If tramp steel or rebar can reach the rotor, run manganese: it deforms rather than shatters. On clean abrasive rock with no tramp metal, 26% chromium gives considerably longer life. Ceramic and TIC insert bars sit between the two for high abrasion duties where breakage risk is controlled.
Are blow bars supplied as balanced sets?
Yes. Bars for one rotor are cast from the same heat and supplied as a set so weights are consistent and the rotor stays balanced.
Can you match a bar profile that is no longer catalogued?
Yes. Send the worn bar or its drawing, or we 3D scan it, and the pattern shop reproduces the fixing and profile dimensions.
Do you supply the break plates as well?
Yes. Break plates and side liners are cast for most makes and models of HSI crusher and can ship with the blow bar order.
