I have no drawing, only the old part. Can you still make it?
Yes. That is the normal starting point. We work from the supplied sample, and where the part cannot leave your site we can visit for 3D scanning.
Do you charge for pattern making?
Patterns for genuinely new parts are quoted with the job. Where we already hold a finished pattern — and we hold thousands — there is no pattern cost and the lead time is shorter.
What is the heaviest casting you can pour?
Up to 10 tonnes as a single casting, melted in 5 t intermediate frequency furnaces and poured from bottom-pouring ladles.
Do you cast parts other than crusher wear parts?
Yes. We supply grinding rollers and liners to the Chinese electric power industry, and castings for copper and iron ore operations, alongside the crusher ranges.
