Narrow Angles Graze Wide Angles Wash
A 15 degree beam close to the wall grazes the surface and emphasises texture. A 60 degree beam further out washes the surface evenly and hides it. Both are correct answers to different questions, and the LUK wall washers offer 15, 30, 60, 30 x 45 and 35 x 65 degree options.

Asymmetric Angles Exist For A Reason
A 30 x 45 or 35 x 65 degree beam spreads more along the run than up the wall, which is what you want when the fixtures are in a continuous line rather than spaced as points.

Wash Height Is A Published Figure
The 3D bending wall washer neon flex is specified to wash over 3 to 5 metres. That is the number to design against, not the lumens per metre, because output alone says nothing about how far up the wall the light will carry.

Indoor Runs Do Not Need The Same Product
A dry interior feature wall does not need an IP67 encapsulated body. The 2835 wall wash strip with a 60 degree lens is an IP20 product for exactly this case, binned below SDCM 3 so a long indoor wash stays even.

Always Mock Up On The Real Surface
Wall texture changes the visible result more than any datasheet figure. Render, brick, polished stone and painted plasterboard all behave differently under the same beam, so test before the full run is made.
