Top Bend
A top bend body curves in the vertical direction, away from or towards the emitting face. It suits profiles that rise and fall, and it is the body used on the multiple beam angle neon flex for cooler applications.

Side Bend
A side bend body curves in the horizontal plane, which is what signage, channel letters and most case profile work need. LUK side bend bodies come in 15 x 15 mm and 10 x 20 mm, and in slim 8 x 16 mm and 6 x 14 mm sections.

3D Bend
A 3D bending body curves in any direction, which is the only way to follow a compound curve without breaking the run into straight sections. It is also the body used for the 3D bending wall washer, which is unusual because most lensed products cannot bend freely.

Cut Unit Matters As Much As Bend Direction
A fixed cut unit of 50 mm or 100 mm wastes material on every short run. Free cutting builds cut at any length, which is worth more than it sounds on a job made of many short pieces.

Match The Section To The Channel
Body sections run from 6 x 14 mm up to 15 x 16 mm. Check the channel before specifying, because a body that does not fit means the channel gets rebuilt, not the fixture.
