We provide ODM design for customers. That means the board is drawn around your fitting, your driver stock and your production line, rather than your fitting being redrawn around a catalogue board.
A project is a sequence of problems. This is the order they arrive in and what we do about each one.
The problem: The fitting exists, the board does not fit it, or the specification cannot be met with what is on the market.
How we handle it: We start from the extrusion, the aperture, the driver already in your bill of materials and the efficacy or CRI figure you have to hit.
The problem: Board size, LED count, drive current and connector position all interact, and getting one wrong forces a respin.
How we handle it: Board length, width, LED package, density, drive current and connector position are set together against the mechanical and electrical constraints.
The problem: Open market LED supply changes bin, price and availability without warning.
How we handle it: We have our own sub-brand factory producing LED components, which can be designed to a customer specific request.
The problem: A board that measures correctly on the bench can still fail in the fitting.
How we handle it: Samples are built to the production process so thermal behaviour and fit are tested in the real housing.
The problem: Consistency between the sample and the first production run is where most ODM projects go wrong.
How we handle it: SMT, reflow, automated optical inspection, colour binning and lit ageing run to the same process as the approved sample.
The problem: Colour drift across a batch shows up once the product is installed side by side.
How we handle it: Boards are binned and sorted so a run of fittings matches, and every board is lit tested before packing.
The problem: Boards damaged in transit cost more than the boards.
How we handle it: Packing is specified against the board format and the shipping mode, and confirmed before the first shipment.

See The Process →Neon flex and wall washers are chosen on three things that rarely appear together: which way the body bends, how short it can be cut, and whether there is a lens controlling the beam.

Yes. We have our own sub-brand factory producing LED components, which can be designed to a customer specific request.
Yes, that is the usual starting point. Send the profile drawing with the enquiry.
Send the fitting, the profile or the room. We will work back from it to a specification you can put into a submittal.
