CCT Is About The Look Of The Space
Warmer temperatures around 2700K to 3000K suit bakery, deli and hospitality. Neutral to cool, 4000K to 6500K, suits chilled drinks, fresh produce and technical goods. The LUK module and strip range covers 2700K to 6500K across most builds.

CRI Is About The Merchandise
CRI measures how accurately the light reproduces colour. At CRI 80 red meat looks grey and fabric colours shift. At CRI 90 and above they do not. The traditional strip range holds CRI above 90 as standard rather than as an upgrade.
The Efficacy Trade-Off Is Real And Published
The tunable white cooler module runs at 155 to 200 lm/W at CRI 80, 130 to 150 lm/W at CRI 90 and 75 to 115 lm/W at CRI 98. That is the honest cost of colour rendering, and it should be decided per food category rather than across a whole store.

SDCM Is The Specification Nobody Reads
Two modules at the same nominal CCT can still look different. SDCM measures how tightly they are binned. The LUK wall washer and lensed strip builds are binned below SDCM 3, which is what keeps a long run looking like one installation.

Tunable White Where The Display Changes
Where one bay merchandises warm and cool product through the week, a dual channel board avoids stocking two products. The 260 x 260 mm dual colour square module publishes its warm, cool and mixed efficacy, so the middle of the range can be compared honestly.
