Product Overview
Not every support line in a pig house is a clean span across the pit. The last row against a wall, the edge of a dunging channel and the make-up run beside a crate all need a section with a different shape — usually one that can be fixed back to a wall or that gives a flat seat on one side only.
JGM produces these as special FRP profiles alongside the standard T range: DM120 × 5.5 × 29.8 mm and the K sections at 100 × 5.1 × 54.16 and 120 × 5.5 × 50 mm, in the same pultruded composite.

Materials and Manufacturing
Pultruded glass-fibre reinforced composite. The FRP Channel Beam is pultruded: continuous glass fibre is drawn through a resin bath and then through a heated die that cures the laminate into its final section. Because the fibre runs unbroken along the length of the beam, the strength is in the direction the load is carried, and there is no metal anywhere in the section to corrode.

Installing and Running It
Step 1
Mark the perimeter runs on the pit drawing before ordering so the right lengths are cut.

Cap cut ends to keep the laminate sealed.
