Hybrid Slip Rings Combining Power Signal Fibre Air and Liquid
A hybrid slip ring puts more than one kind of transfer into a single rotating body — power rings plus optical fibre, pneumatic passages, liquid passages, RF coax or high speed data, all turning on one axis.

What This Family Is For
The constraint
Stacking three separate rotary joints on one axis costs length, alignment tolerance and reliability, and every extra interface is another place for a cable to chafe or a seal to leak.
How INGIANT answers it
INGIANT integrates the channels into one housing: the electrical stack, the fibre rotary joint core, the gas or liquid union and the coaxial path share a single rotor. Fewer parts on the axis, one mounting interface, one set of tolerances.
Who buys this family
Builders of inspection and subsea systems, radar and antenna positioners, filling and packaging lines, gimbals and pan-tilt platforms, and semiconductor and test equipment.
Standard Values Across This Family
These are the catalogue values that appear on most models in this family. Every one of them can be changed on a customised build.
Rotating speed
Catalogue units are rated 0–600 rpm. Lower and higher speed designs are built to order.
Working temperature
-40 °C to +65 °C on standard builds, with wider ranges designed against the application.
Protection level
IP54 as standard, with sealing grades up to IP68 where the environment demands it.
Insulation
Insulation resistance ≥1000 MΩ at 500 VDC, insulation strength 1500 VAC at 50 Hz for 60 s.
Contact system
Precious metal ring and brush pairs with dynamic resistance variation below 10 mΩ.
Lead wire
Colour-coded Teflon insulated tinned stranded flexible wire, 500 mm + 20 mm as standard.

Hybrid Slip Rings Questions Engineers Ask
Which channels can be combined in one hybrid slip ring?
Power and low-frequency signal rings can be combined with Gigabit Ethernet, USB, HD-SDI, single or multi-channel optical fibre, RF coaxial paths and pneumatic or hydraulic passages.
Does adding fibre or pneumatics change the electrical performance?
The electrical stack keeps its own rated voltage, current and insulation values. The fibre core and the fluid union sit on the same axis but on separate paths, so they do not share a contact surface.
How do I read a hybrid model number?
The suffix describes the mix. In DHS165-6-1F-2S-2Y the 1F is one optical fibre channel, 2S is two signal channels and 2Y is two liquid passages.
