Solution

From Requirement to Delivered Slip Ring in Eight Steps

Most INGIANT work is not a catalogue pick. This is the route a custom rotating connector takes from your first enquiry to the unit on your machine.

Step by Step

Custom Slip Ring Engineering

1 Requirement

You send the eight inputs: rotating speed, installation type, installation size, circuit count as single wires beside the cable, rated voltage and current for power and signal rings, signal type and its parameters, operating temperature and IP requirement.

2 Concept

INGIANT engineers pick the architecture — capsule, through bore, separate assembly or hybrid — and decide which channels share the stack and which need their own path.

3 Drawing

You receive an outline drawing with the mounting interface, the envelope, the lead specification and the connector termination for approval.

4 Materials

Precious metal contact pairs, aluminium alloy or engineering plastic housings, Teflon insulated tinned stranded flexible lead wire, and seals chosen against the IP grade.

5 Manufacture

Machining on the in-house CNC centre and assembly by the production team, across roughly 6000 m² of research and production space.

6 Test

Insulation resistance, insulation strength, dynamic resistance variation and functional signal testing before the unit leaves the line.

7 Delivery

7–15 days for standard products, 10–20 days for simple customisation and 15–40 days for complex customisation, shipping from Jiujiang by air for small orders and by sea for large ones.

8 Support

12 month warranty from date of sale with free repair or replacement for quality problems not caused by human damage, plus regular technical information and training support.

FAQ

Custom Slip Ring Engineering Questions

What is the single most important parameter?

The signal type and its parameters. It decides the contact system, the ring spacing and often the whole architecture.

Do you sign an NDA before we send drawings?

Contact the sales team through email or WhatsApp and the terms are agreed before drawings are exchanged.

Can you match an existing supplier's footprint?

Yes. Send the drawing of the unit you are replacing and it can be designed to the same mounting and lead layout.

Start With Your Requirement Not a Model Number

Rotating speed, installation size, circuit count, voltage and current per ring, signal types, operating temperature and IP grade — send those eight and you get a design back.
