Four Steps From Enquiry to a Repeatable Lot
1. Variety is agreed before planting
Guajillo, Chaotian, Puya and Yunnan cayenne behave differently in the field and in the dryer. The variety decides the colour and heat bands you can be quoted.
2. Volume is arranged across regions
Long-term relationships across Shandong, Shanxi, Henan and Sichuan mean a variety can be organised in a short time rather than only in its home province.
3. Drying and grading happen at our plant
Sun drying and controlled storage happen on a site of 13,600 square metres with 4,800 cubic metres of cold and constant-temperature warehouse.
4. The lot keeps its identity
Grading by length, colour and heat is what allows a repeat order to be filled from the same description rather than from memory.

How much of your supply is your own crop?
The Xinjiang plantation is ours and is managed by us. Beyond it we hold long-term supply relationships with tens of thousands of growing households and several large plantations in Shandong, Shanxi, Henan and Sichuan.
Can a variety be organised outside its home province?
Usually yes, and that is the practical value of relationships across four provinces. It shortens the time to assemble a volume rather than waiting on one region.
Is the crop dried at your own site?
Yes. Sun drying happens in the yard at Changyi on a 13,600 square metre site, with 4,800 cubic metres of cold and constant-temperature storage behind it.
Can we plan a variety ahead of a season?
Yes, and that is the right time to do it. Variety is agreed with growers before planting because it sets the colour and heat you can be quoted.
Can we visit the plantation?
The plantation is in Xinjiang and the plant is in Changyi, Shandong. Both can be arranged with notice.
