This quartz glass tube is a consumable welding crucible for wire and cable plants conducting copper conductor welding. It is used as an aid for butt welding, and it takes the place of the ceramic tube more fully and more excellently — the operator can see the joint through it, the bore is smooth, and the hole tolerance is an order of magnitude tighter.

How It Is Set Up and Run

- Run the welding cycle on the butt welder.
- Shatter the tube to release the joint, then dress lightly before the extruder.

Dies are manufactured for wire between 0.10 mm and 25.0 mm to suit round or profile wire and rod, to the customer's own specification, at -1% / +2% of the wire diameter.
Your Electrical Supply
On the motorised and hydraulic machines, operating voltage is built to the industrial supply of the destination country. State voltage, phase and frequency with the order.
Export Packing
Machines are packed in a strong wooden or plywood case as stated per model. Carry cases are supplied with the portable welders and the DA10.
