QT5-15 Automatic Paver And Block Making Machine
Medium scale automatic plant at 1200 blocks per hour, with a colour machine option for two-layer paving blocks.

Machine Overview
The QT5-15 is built for a plant that sells paving as well as walling. It runs at 4600 to 5200 vibrations per minute with 45 to 65 kN of vibration force on a 15 to 20 second cycle, producing hollow blocks, porous blocks, curbs and pavement blocks. Add a colour machine and it produces layer blocks, where a thin face mix of coloured material sits on a cheaper base mix. Raw material can be fly ash, slag, gangue or other industrial waste as well as river sand, gravel and cement.
Key Benefits
- 1200 pieces per hour on a 400 x 200 x 200 mm hollow block, 9600 per 8 hours
- 5760 standard bricks per hour at 230 x 110 x 70 mm
- Colour machine option produces two-layer face-mix paving blocks
- High vibration frequency of 4600 to 5200 times per minute for dense pavers
- 1070 x 550 mm pallet carries five hollow blocks per cycle

Who It Is For
- Plants supplying both construction and municipal paving markets
- Producers who want a colour face mix without a separate paving line
- Buyers converting industrial waste streams into saleable product
Problems It Solves
- Paving that has to be bought in because the block line cannot make it
- Colour pigment used through the whole block, which is expensive and unnecessary
- Fly ash, slag and gangue stockpiles with no outlet
Application Scenarios
- Coloured paving block production for pedestrian areas and landscaping
- Curb production for municipal road contracts
- Porous block production where drainage is specified
- Mixed plants alternating between walling blocks and paving on the same machine
Technical Features
- 26.5 kW total power on a 7400 x 1950 x 2800 mm machine
- 45 to 65 kN vibration force at 4600 to 5200 times per minute
- 15 to 20 second moulding cycle
- 1070 x 550 mm pallet size
- Optional colour machine for layer blocks
Technical Parameters
Reproduced from the manufacturer specification. Where a figure is not published the table says so rather than carrying an estimate.
| Machine overall size | 7400 x 1950 x 2800 mm |
| Power | 26.5 KW |
| Vibration force | 45-65 KN |
| Moulding cycle | 15-20 s |
| Vibration frequency | 4600-5200 times/min |
| Pallet size | 1070 x 550 mm |
| Colour machine | Optional, for two-layer blocks |
| Raw materials | Fly ash, slag, gangue, industrial waste, river sand, gravel, cement |
Quality Control In The Workshop
- One-piece cast vibration boxes with large imported bearings for vibration unit life
- Modular assembly so wear parts can be replaced without stripping the frame
- Automotive grade top coat that holds up to outdoor plant conditions
- Free moulding test with your own aggregate before the order is placed
Use Guide
- Run the base mix and the face mix as two separate batches when the colour machine is fitted
- Keep the face layer thin: it carries the colour and the wear surface, not the strength
- Use the higher end of the vibration frequency range for thin paving moulds
- Cure pavers under cover and keep them damp so colour develops evenly
Published Output By Block Size
Capacity is indicative. Actual output varies with operator efficiency, mould and material quality, which is how the manufacturer specification states it.
| Block size (mm) | Pcs per mould | Pcs per hour | Pcs per 8 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 400 x 200 x 200 | 5 | 1200 | 9600 |
| 230 x 110 x 70 | 24 | 5760 | 46080 |
| 200 x 100 x 60 | 15 | 2700 | 21600 |
What The Machine Looks Like

How It Compares With The Alternatives
A technical comparison against the other ways of solving the same problem, using the figures each machine publishes for itself.
| QT4-15 automatic machine | The QT4-15 is the smaller hydraulic machine at 5000 to 7000 blocks per shift. The QT5-15 publishes 9600 hollow blocks per 8 hours and adds the colour option. |
| QT6-15 automatic machine | The QT6-15 moulds six hollow blocks per cycle against five, at 40.5 kW and 50-70 kN, on a 900 x 700 mm pallet. |
| Buying coloured pavers from a third party | A colour machine puts the pigment only in the face layer, so pigment cost applies to a thin top layer rather than the full block. |
