Vibration Force And Frequency And What They Do To Block Density
From 30 kN on the QT40-2 to 102 kN on the QT12-15, and why frequency matters as much as force.
Force Compacts, Frequency Distributes
Vibration force, quoted in kN, is how hard the table drives the mix into the mould. Vibration frequency, quoted in times per minute, is how often it does so. The QT10-15 publishes 90 kN at an adjustable 3,000 to 5,200 times per minute; the QT5-15 publishes 45 to 65 kN at 4,600 to 5,200. High frequency with moderate force suits thin paving moulds, while heavy hollow moulds need the force.
The Published Range In Order
QT40-2 at 30 kN. QT40-1 and QT4-24 at 35.5 kN. QT5-15 at 45 to 65 kN. QT6-15 at 50 to 70 kN. QT4-25 at 70 to 90 kN. QT8-15 and QT10-15 at 90 kN. QT12-15 at 102 kN. That progression, more than any other single figure, is what separates the machines.
Vibration Method Matters Too
The QT4-25 combines flat vibration, mould vibration and squeeze compression vibration, which the source credits for average density and high strength. The QT10-15 uses table integrated vibration, applying even compaction force across the pallet so finished blocks are crack-free and dimensionally accurate.
Why The Vibration Box Is The Part That Matters
Continuous vibration is hard on the machine itself. BRICKMATE vibration boxes are cast as one solid piece and fitted with large imported bearings, which is what extends the life of the vibration unit. A failing vibration box shows up first as inconsistent block density, before any noise.
