QT12-15 Full Automatic Concrete Block Production Line
Largest line in the range: twelve blocks per cycle, 102 kN vibration and 96000 standard bricks per 8 hour shift.

Machine Overview
The QT12-15 runs the whole line automatically, from pallet feed through moulding to discharge. Twelve hollow blocks are moulded per cycle on a 1380 x 880 mm pallet at 102 kN, giving 2880 pieces per hour and 23040 per 8 hour shift, with up to 96000 standard bricks a shift on the smaller mould. Moulds are heat treated and carburised to 54-58 HRC and rated for more than 100 thousand cycles, and the electrical package is Siemens or ABB motors with an original Japan Mitsubishi PLC.
Key Benefits
- 2880 hollow blocks per hour, 23040 per 8 hour shift
- Up to 12000 standard bricks per hour at 230 x 110 x 70 mm
- 102 kN vibration force, the highest in the published range
- Moulds heat treated and carburised to 54-58 HRC for more than 100000 cycles
- Germany Siemens or ABB host motor with an original Japan Mitsubishi PLC

Who It Is For
- Established producers scaling to industrial volume
- Groups consolidating several small plants into one line
- Buyers whose specification calls for CE standard material selection
Problems It Solves
- Multiple ageing lines with duplicated labour, mixing and maintenance
- Mould replacement cost on plants running high volumes
- Output ceilings that stop a plant bidding for large contracts
Application Scenarios
- Industrial scale block plants supplying a city or export market
- Contract production of paving at 225 x 112.5 x 80 mm for large road schemes
- Plants where a single line must cover walling, paving and curbstone demand
- Operations replacing several older lines with one automatic installation
Technical Features
- 52 kW on a 9400 x 3060 x 2980 mm machine
- 102 kN vibration force at 2500 to 4000 times per minute
- 15 to 20 second moulding cycle on a 1380 x 880 mm pallet
- Mitsubishi PLC with an in-house control program
- Materials and spare parts selected to CE standard with CO2 protection welding
Technical Parameters
Reproduced from the manufacturer specification. Where a figure is not published the table says so rather than carrying an estimate.
| Machine overall size | 9400 x 3060 x 2980 mm |
| Power | 52 KW |
| Vibration force | 102 KN |
| Moulding cycle | 15-20 s |
| Vibration frequency | 2500-4000 times/min |
| Pallet size | 1380 x 880 mm |
| Host machine motor | Germany Siemens or ABB |
| PLC | Original Japan Mitsubishi |
| Switches | France Schneider and Japan Omron |
| Mould hardness | 54-58 HRC, rated over 100000 cycles |
| Material standard | Selected to international CE standard |
Quality Control In The Workshop
- All material and spare parts selected according to international CE standard
- Carbon dioxide protection welding across the line for stable running
- Mould strength verified at 54-58 HRC after carburising
- Assembly, shot blasting and trial running open to customer inspection in Linyi
Use Guide
- Match the batching plant output to a 15 to 20 second cycle before commissioning
- Keep a mould log: at 54-58 HRC and over 100000 cycles, replacement should be planned rather than reactive
- Train at least two operators on the Mitsubishi PLC screens so a shift is never dependent on one person
- Keep the pallet stock in rotation and flip pallets to use both faces
Published Output By Block Size
Capacity is indicative. Actual output varies with operator efficiency, mould and material quality, which is how the manufacturer specification states it.
| Block size (mm) | Pcs per mould | Pcs per hour | Pcs per 8 hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| 400 x 200 x 200 | 12 | 2880 | 23040 |
| 230 x 110 x 70 | 50 | 12000 | 96000 |
| 200 x 100 x 60 | 44 | 7920 | 63360 |
| 225 x 112.5 x 80 | 30 | 5400 | 43200 |
What The Machine Looks Like

How It Compares With The Alternatives
A technical comparison against the other ways of solving the same problem, using the figures each machine publishes for itself.
| QT10-15 production line | Ten blocks per cycle at 90 kN with Yuken hydraulics. The QT12-15 adds two blocks per cycle, 102 kN and a larger 1380 x 880 mm pallet. |
| QT8-15 automatic machine | Eight blocks per cycle at 40.5 kW. The QT12-15 runs at 52 kW for roughly 50 percent more blocks per cycle. |
| Two mid-range lines | One QT12-15 concentrates mixing, control and supervision on a single line rather than duplicating all three. |
