Overview

What This Machine Does

The QC11K is a CNC hydraulic guillotine shear built as an all-steel welded structure that is vibration aged to take out internal stress, so the frame stays rigid and the cut line does not move as the machine settles into service. The hydraulic transmission is an integrated system, and a triple support rolling guide rail removes the gaps in the blade support that otherwise show up as a wandering cut. Blade clearance is set by hand wheel, which is quick to change between materials and thicknesses, and the shearing angle is adjustable to reduce sheet deformation on long narrow cuts. The rectangular blades carry four cutting edges, so each blade is indexed three times before it needs regrinding. The upper blade holder is tilted inward to make feeding easier and to improve workpiece accuracy. A mechanical rear stopper with manual fine tuning and digital indication sets the cut width, and sectional shearing and light alignment functions are built in. CE marked.

Key Benefits

Why Buyers Choose This Machine

  • Vibration aged all-steel welded frame keeps its rigidity instead of relaxing after installation
  • Triple support rolling guide rail eliminates support gaps that make the cut line wander
  • Rectangular blades with four cutting edges give three index changes before regrinding
  • Adjustable shearing angle reduces twist and deformation on long narrow strips
  • Hand wheel blade clearance adjustment changes between materials in seconds
  • Rear stopper with digital indication repeats cut widths without measuring each sheet
  • Inward tilted upper blade holder makes material feeding easier and holds accuracy
Application

Where QC11K Series CNC Hydraulic Guillotine Shear Earns Its Place

Problems It Solves

  • Frames that have not been stress relieved distort and the cut goes out of square
  • Play in the blade support leaves a cut that is wide at one end and tight at the other
  • Blade changes are slow and costly when the blade has only one usable edge
  • Long narrow strips twist during shearing when the blade angle cannot be adjusted
  • Measuring and marking every sheet for width is slow and inconsistent
  • Operators cannot see exactly where the blade will land without an alignment light

Who It Is For

  • Sheet metal fabrication shops cutting daily production blanks
  • Steel service and cut-to-size operations
  • Manufacturers feeding press brakes with prepared blanks
  • Machinery distributors supplying CNC shears into export markets

Application Scenarios

  • Cutting plate blanks to size in a production fabrication shop
  • Sectional shearing of long sheets where only part of the blade length is used
  • Repeat width cutting from the rear stopper for batch work
  • Cutting strips where deformation must be kept out of the finished part
  • Feeding blanks into press brakes and rolling machines downstream

Comparison

How It Compares With the Alternatives

QC12Y hydraulic swing beam shearThe swing beam design is simpler and cheaper for general cutting; the QC11K guillotine action with adjustable shear angle and CNC back gauge gives better accuracy on repeat production work
Q11 foot power shearerThe Q11 handles thin sheet without power; the QC11K shears plate hydraulically with programmed back gauge positions for production volumes
Cutting plate with a plasma or oxy torchThermal cutting leaves a heat affected edge that needs dressing; shearing gives a clean cut edge ready for the next operation
Use Guide

Running the Machine

Step 1

Set the blade clearance with the hand wheel for the material and thickness

Step 2

Set the shearing angle for the strip width you are cutting

Step 3

Set the rear stopper and fine tune against the digital indication

Step 4

Use the alignment light to check where the cut will fall on the sheet

Step 5

Shear a first piece and measure it before running the batch

Step 6

Use sectional shearing where only part of the blade length is needed

Step 7

Index the blade to a fresh edge when the cut edge starts to burr

FAQ

Questions About QC11K Series CNC Hydraulic Guillotine Shear

What thickness and length can the QC11K cut?

Capacity depends on the model in the series. Send us your maximum plate thickness, width and material grade and we will confirm the right QC11K build in writing.

How many times can the blades be used before regrinding?

The blades are rectangular with four cutting edges, so each blade can be indexed to a fresh edge three times before it goes for regrinding.

Why does the shearing angle matter?

A larger angle reduces the cutting force but twists narrow strips. Because the angle is adjustable you can set it low for narrow work and higher for thick plate.

Is a rear material support available?

Yes. A rear material holding device is offered as an option. State it on the order because it changes the machine build.

Does the machine carry CE marking?

Yes. Confirm any additional local requirements for your market with the order so we can prepare the documentation.

What supply voltage will it be built for?

Tell us your voltage, phases and frequency with the order and the machine will be wired and tested to that supply.

What are your trade and payment terms?

FOB CFR and CIF. Payment is 30 percent by T/T on order and 70 percent before shipment, or an irrevocable L/C at sight.
