Which materials can be granulated?
Low melting point materials, generally melting between 50 and 300 degrees Celsius, that flow when molten and are solid at room temperature — sulphur, paraffin wax, rubber, resin, pitch, maleic anhydride, TMA, stearic acid products, thermal sol, phenylenediamine, urea and plastics additives.
Pastillator or drum granulator?
It depends on the material behaviour and the particle you want. Send us your material and target particle size and we will advise.
Can output be varied?
Yes. Cooler and dropform systems use frequency control drives, so production rate is adjusted without mechanical changes.
