Before Production Starts
- Confirm conductor material in writing — bare copper or CCA
- Confirm conductor gauge or cross-section
- Approve the jacket print text, including any brand name and length markers
- Approve the reel label content and the packing format
- Agree which test records will be supplied with the shipment
On The Sample Reel
- Strip a conductor and inspect the cut end for a silver core
- Measure conductor diameter with a micrometer against the specification
- Check jacket print legibility and whether it survives rubbing
- Pull a short length through a tight bend and check for jacket damage
- Terminate and test a link if the cable is a data specification
On The Production Lot
- Compare a production reel against the approved sample side by side
- Check jacket colour consistency across several reels
- Verify reel lengths against the packing list
- Check that reel labels match the purchase order line items
- Confirm the certificate pack is complete before the container is sealed
What We Do At Our End
Every batch is tested for continuity, conductor resistance and dielectric strength. Patch cord lots are Fluke DSX channel certified. Cable that fails at a QC gate does not reach packing.
Where a buyer wants third-party inspection before shipment, we accommodate it — tell us at order time so the schedule allows for it.
Applying this to a live project? Send the specification and we will tell you how it lands for your case — how to inspect cable before it ships is exactly the kind of question we answer whether or not there is an order attached.
