What Goes Wrong With CAT5e Cable

CAT5e is still the cable that most device drops are built from. It carries gigabit comfortably, it terminates quickly, and on a large site the price difference against CAT6 is the whole margin. What it does not forgive is thin conductor — PoE cameras and access points at the end of a 90 m run turn conductor resistance into a support ticket.
