What Goes Wrong With CAT6 Cable

CAT6 has become the specification most new installations are written around. The heavier 23 AWG conductor gives headroom on PoE budget, and the tighter twist schedule is what delivers the 250 MHz bandwidth. It is also less forgiving to install: over-tight cable ties and sharp bends undo the pair geometry that the line was set up to produce.
