Product Overview
A pen run needs something along the top: a rail that stiffens the panels, gives the stockperson something to hold, and stops an animal getting a nose over the edge of a board. A square PVC tube does that without adding a steel member that will corrode at the fixings.

Materials and Manufacturing
Extruded rigid PVC. The PVC Square Tube is extruded as a continuous profile: rigid PVC compound is fed through a heated screw and drawn through a die that forms both the outer wall and the internal rib pattern in one pass. The profile is then cooled, sized and cut to the length the order calls for, which is why length is a customer dimension rather than a catalogue one.

Installing and Running It
Step 1
Run the rail across the full panel run and support it at each post.

Do not use the rail as a structural member for a gate — use a framed panel.
