Product Overview
A hollow panel is only as stiff as its internal rib pattern. The herringbone (ZX) range replaces the straight internal rib with a diagonal triangulated web, which resists the twisting load a pig puts on a long pen face or a gate leaf.
The range runs from 500 × 35 mm up to 1200 × 35 mm in the 2.0 mm wall / 1.2 mm rib build, plus 900 × 50 mm and 965 × 50 mm heavy sections. White and grey are standard and lengths are cut to the pen.

Stiffness across a wide face
The diagonal web triangulates the panel so a 1,000 or 1,200 mm wide board does not bow under side pressure.
Nine widths from one profile family
500, 600, 700, 750, 800, 900, 1000, 1100 and 1200 mm at 35 mm thick, so pen widths are met without cutting down a wide board.
Heavy 50 mm sections for gates

Materials and Manufacturing
Extruded rigid PVC. The PVC Panel (Herringbone Rib) is extruded as a continuous profile: rigid PVC compound is fed through a heated screw and drawn through a die that forms both the outer wall and the internal rib pattern in one pass. The profile is then cooled, sized and cut to the length the order calls for, which is why length is a customer dimension rather than a catalogue one.

Installing and Running It
Step 1
Pick the panel width closest to the pen dimension so the run needs no cut board.
Step 2
Support the panel at both ends in U-channel or a corner post; do not rely on the face fixing alone.
Step 3
Use the 50 mm sections where a latch, hinge or heavy gate load is carried.
Step 4
Check the fit of the H-connector before final assembly — the ZX profile is a firm push fit, not a loose one.
