Control Starts Before the First Cut
For a new project development the quality control should start from the initial stage: pre-DFM, mold design, fabrication, mold tests, and final inspection before mold delivery. All of these steps have to be checked and controlled.

Are you certified?

When does quality control start on a new project?
At the initial stage. For a new project development the control starts with pre-DFM, then mold design, fabrication, mold tests and final inspection before mold delivery. All of these steps have to be checked and controlled.
What happens to incoming steel?
Incoming material inspection, then steel hardness inspection with steel certification. Steel dimensions are inspected again after machining.
What do we receive from the mold trial?
Mold trial reports with a sample dimension report (FAI).
Is anything checked after the trial passes?
Yes — final mold inspection and packing inspection, before the tool leaves us.
Can we audit the factory?
