Injection MouldingRapid Prototyping
Iterate quickly, then refine, then commit

Wisdom Industrial · since 2012
Overview
Fast and accurate prototypes that let a development cycle move in short loops instead of one long gamble. Quick iterations and refinements are what turn a promising design into a correct one, and the cost of a loop here is a fraction of the cost of a loop after tooling.
Problems
What This Fixes
- Development cycles that are long because each iteration takes weeks
- Design decisions argued from renders because no physical part exists
- Fit problems discovered at assembly rather than at prototype stage
- Prototype vendors whose parts behave nothing like the production material
Benefits
What You Get
- Fast and accurate prototypes that accelerate the development cycle
- Quick iteration and refinement, so the design converges rather than drifts
- Choice of 3D printing or moulded prototypes depending on what you need to prove
- The prototype supplier and the production supplier are the same company
Who For
Suited To
- Engineering teams running short design loops before freeze
- Companies preparing samples for a customer or a trade show
- Teams validating fit and assembly across several parts at once
Scenarios
Typical Jobs
- Three design variants printed and reviewed side by side in one week
- A fit check across an assembly before any tool is ordered
- A customer sample produced ahead of a purchasing decision
Technical
How It Runs
- 3D printing in ABS-like, PC-like, PETG-like and epoxy resin materials
- Moulded prototypes available through rapid tooling where the material matters
- CNC machined prototypes in aluminium, stainless steel, copper, PC, POM, PMMA and PVC
- Direct route into low-volume production once the design settles

Order Process
How This Job Would Run
The same eight stages apply whether the order is a single tool or a production programme.
Request A Quote
Send the part drawing or 3D file by email. An engineer comes back within 24 hours with a consultation, not an auto-reply.
DFM Report
Before any steel is cut we return a design-for-manufacture report that flags flaws and errors in the design, so they are fixed on paper.
Mould Design & Moldflow
A predictive model analyses how the molten material behaves inside the cavity. Flow analysis settles gating and cooling before tooling.
Mould Tooling Production
Tooling is cut from the steel grade chosen for the application, not from whatever is on the rack.
T1 Sample Inspection
First-trial samples go out for your inspection and review. Errors are identified on T1, before mass production is committed.
Low Volume Production
A low-volume run follows the trial phase, so precision is proven on real machines under expert surveillance before the ramp.
Strict Inspection
Parts are inspected against international tolerance standards and against the specification you supplied.
Delivery
Parts are packaged to survive the journey and released through our logistics partners on a scheduled delivery.
Questions
About Rapid Prototyping
Printed or moulded prototypes?
Printed when you are checking form and fit, moulded when the material behaviour is what you are testing. We will say which one answers your question.
Which printing materials are available?
ABS-like, PC-like, PETG-like and epoxy resin are the listed options for our 3D printing.
Can a prototype become a production part?
Through rapid tooling and low-volume moulding, yes. The route is planned rather than improvised at the end.
