Machined aluminium connect ring with a stepped bore and an external retaining groove.
A turned ring that joins two tube or housing sections and holds them concentric while the assembly is fastened.
The connect ring is a turned aluminium part with a stepped bore on one face and an external groove around the outside diameter. The step locates against the mating tube end so the two halves sit concentric before anything is torqued, and the groove takes a retaining ring or an O-ring depending on whether the joint has to be secured or sealed. It is the kind of part that never appears on a datasheet but decides whether an assembly goes together in ten seconds or ten minutes.
Design and production engineers who are building a tubular assembly and need the joining hardware made to their own print rather than bought from a catalogue that almost fits.
| Outside diameter | To drawing |

| Bore and step diameter | To drawing |
| Groove width and depth | To drawing, matched to your retaining ring or seal |
| Tolerance | Confirmed per project against your print |
| Material | Aluminium alloy, stainless steel or engineering plastic |
| Surface finish | As-machined unless specified |
| Minimum order | Confirmed per project |
Values marked to drawing or confirmed per project are set against your print at quotation. No certification, capacity or tolerance figures are published because none were published by the business.
Against a stock retaining ring groove machined into the tube itself, a separate connect ring costs more per assembly but lets you replace a damaged joint without scrapping the tube. Against a welded joint it is serviceable. Against a moulded plastic collar it holds tighter tolerances and takes more clamping load.
