Product Overview
Corrugated plastic sheet can be fabricated into postal totes and trays in a variety of colours and styles.
Postal operations sort, move and return the same containers thousands of times, so the container has to survive handling, stack reliably and be easy to identify. Because the tote is cut and fabricated rather than moulded, footprint and height are matched to the sorting equipment already in use.
Key Benefits
Light Weight Rigid Strong and Long-Time Durable
Totes survive repeated sorting and handling cycles.
Waterproof Moisture Resistant with Excellent Weatherability
Yard and vehicle storage does not weaken the tote.
Chemical Resistance Impact Resistance and Fade Resistance
Colour coding stays readable through the life of the tote.
Environmentally Friendly Recycled Use Washable Non-Toxic and Anti-Corrosion
Totes wash between cycles and recycle at end of life.
Easy to Fabricate with Custom-Made Cut Shape
Hand holes, lids and stacking features are cut to your drawing.
Excellent Surface for Paints and Inks
Route codes and depot marks print directly on the tote.
Cost-Efficient and Economical for Any End User
Lower cost per cycle than replacing cartons.

Technical Features and Materials
Corrugated polypropylene sheet fabricated into totes and trays.
Manufacturing Process
- Raw Material High impact co-polymer polypropylene resin, with anti-static, conductive, UV or flame retardant masterbatch added at the extruder when a modified grade is ordered.
- Extrusion The sheet is extruded on one of six production lines to the ordered thickness and weight per square metre. Printing grade stock is corona treated on both surfaces during extrusion.
- Cutting and Creasing Sheets are cut to the ordered panel size and creased where the part has to fold.
- Fabrication Boxes, totes, trays, sleeves and layer pads are formed by welding, riveting or sealing the edges and corners, and accessories are fitted.
- Inspection and Packing Finished goods are inspected, then packed in plastic shrink film on wooden pallets or to the packing method the customer specifies.
From Enquiry to Delivered Goods
Quality Control
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System
Operations run to an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system so that the process meets international standards.
100% Inspection Before Delivery
Quality control is carried out inside our own factory and every product is 100% tested before it is released for delivery.
Extrusion Line Control
Thickness, weight per square metre, flute geometry and colour are set and checked on the extrusion line so each sheet matches the ordered specification.
Fabrication Check
Cut sizes, crease positions, welded corners and sealed edges are checked against the approved sample before packing.
Certifications and Standards
Operations run to an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system. Container resin can be specified as ESD safe or flame retardant meeting UL 94 HB flame retardant grade. Where food contact packing is required, 100% new virgin materials are used. We do not publish certificates we have not been given — ask and we will send what applies to your order.

Use Guide
- Give the footprint your sorting equipment and vehicles already use so the tote drops into the existing system.
- Use colour to code route, depot or service level; the sheet is extruded in the colour you choose.
- Specify hand hole size and position for the handling your staff actually do.
