Choosing a Collapsible Corrugated Plastic Box
Fold pattern, virgin material and accessories decide the design
Why Collapsible
Collapsible corrugated plastic boxes are light in weight, strong in rigidity, foldable, reusable, environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. They are economical and resistant to liquids, chemicals and high impact.
The reason to choose collapsible over rigid is the return leg. A box that folds flat occupies a fraction of the volume on the way back and in storage, which is what makes a returnable loop affordable to run.
Work Out Two Volumes Not One
Calculate the loaded volume and the folded volume separately. The folded volume determines how many empties fit on the return vehicle and how much warehouse space you need between seasons.
Material Decisions
The box is polypropylene, which is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable. Where food contact packing is required, 100% new virgin materials are used. Say so at enquiry stage, because it is a material decision rather than a finishing option.
Accessories Are Fitted During Fabrication
Lids, dividers, layer pads, labels and handles are added while the box is being fabricated. Deciding them after the sample is approved means a second sample round. Custom sizes, features, accessories, sheets and colours are all available on request.

Collapsible packaging boxes, shipping containers and bulk bins are used across storage, distribution and display, and a customised box comes in a variety of colours, sizes and designs to suit product storage and display.
