The Numbers That Separate Them
Anti-static grade is produced with anti-static concentrate added during extrusion and has a surface resistivity of 1×10⁸ Ω to 1×10¹⁰ Ω. It can be applied to sheet in any colour.
Conductive grade is produced with conductive concentrate added during extrusion and has a surface resistivity of 1×10³ Ω to 1×10⁵ Ω. It is produced in black only.
Both Are Built In Not Coated
In each case the concentrate is compounded into the material at the extruder to modify it, rather than sprayed onto a finished sheet. That is the difference between a property that lasts through the life of the container and a surface treatment that wears away.
Choosing Between Them
The choice is set by your own ESD procedure, not by the packaging supplier. Find the resistivity band your procedure specifies and order the grade that covers it. If your procedure only says "anti-static" without a number, ask the process engineer for the band before ordering.
Practical Consequences
Because conductive grade is black, colour coding on an ESD line has to be done with labels or printed panels. Anti-static grade can be extruded in any colour, so coding by colour stays possible.
What Gets Fabricated From Them
Both grades are fabricated into reusable packaging boxes, totes, trays, dividers and fitted inserts. They are widely used for packaging, storage and transportation of electronic components, and they give effective protection for semiconductors, computers and telecommunication equipment.

Which One Is Stronger Protection
They serve different resistivity bands. Conductive grade sits several orders of magnitude lower at 1×10³–1×10⁵ Ω; anti-static sits at 1×10⁸–1×10¹⁰ Ω.
Can I Get Conductive Grade in Blue
No. Conductive grade is produced in black.
Are the Properties Permanent
The concentrate is added during extrusion to modify the material rather than applied as a surface coating.
