What This Machine Does
The MDY100/35 is a manually operated hydraulic press built around a welded steel frame and a single-piston double-acting cylinder. The operator controls the up stroke and the down stroke of the cylinder rod by hand, so pressure is applied at the speed the job needs rather than on a fixed cycle. That matters on straightening, pressing bearings and bushes, and any job where you want to feel the work move before committing full force. The beam of the work platform is raised and lowered on a lifting device, so the daylight between ram and table is set to the part instead of packing the job up with blocks. Because the cylinder is double-acting, the ram is driven back up under power instead of relying on springs or on the operator, which keeps the return predictable on deep strokes. The press is classified under HS 8462 for forging, hammering, bending and die-stamping work and is supplied by XAIMC from Xi'an, Shaanxi.
Why Buyers Choose This Machine
- Manual control of both strokes lets the operator feel the part and stop before overpressing
- Double-acting cylinder powers the ram back up so the return stroke does not depend on springs
- Adjustable work platform beam sets the daylight to the part instead of packing it with blocks
- Welded steel frame carries the load without the frame spring that throws off press depth
- Single-cylinder hydraulic layout keeps the machine simple to service in a general workshop
- Covers pressing bending straightening and light die work on one frame
Where Operated Hydraulic Press MDY100 Earns Its Place
Problems It Solves
- Hammering bearings in and out damages housings and shafts
- Fixed-cycle presses give the operator no way to stop part-way through a stroke
- Light frames deflect under load so the pressed depth is never the set depth
- Fixed table height forces operators to pack short parts up on blocks
- Single-acting rams stick at the top of the stroke on deep pressing work
Who It Is For
- General engineering and repair workshops needing one press for mixed jobs
- Vehicle and plant maintenance shops pressing bearings and bushes
- Fabrication shops doing occasional forming and straightening
- Machinery distributors supplying workshop presses to export markets
Application Scenarios
- Pressing bearings bushes and pins in and out of housings and hubs
- Straightening shafts bars and welded frames after distortion
- Light die-stamping and forming of small metal parts
- Bending flat bar and section in a workshop without a press brake
- Assembly and disassembly work in maintenance and repair shops

How It Is Built and What Can Be Changed
Operations Performed
- Pressing
- Bending
- Forging
- Die-stamping
- Straightening
Quality Control
- Cylinder and hydraulic circuit pressure tested before assembly
- Welded frame checked for squareness of the ram to the table
- Ram travel and platform beam adjustment run through full travel
- Oil circuit checked for leaks under load before packing
Customisation Options
- Work platform beam position and table opening set to the parts you press
- Supply voltage and frequency set for your market where a powered pump is fitted
- Pressing tooling V-blocks and adapters quoted with the machine
- Manual and machine markings prepared in your working language
How It Compares With the Alternatives
| Hand-operated arbor or screw press | A screw press depends on operator strength and gives no controlled return; the MDY100/35 applies hydraulic force and drives the ram back under power |
|---|---|
| Automatic cycle hydraulic press | An automatic press is faster on repeat parts but cannot be stopped mid-stroke by feel, which is what maintenance and straightening work needs |
| Four column hydraulic press Y32 | The Y32 four-column design is built for deep drawing and die forming; the MDY100/35 is a simpler open workshop press for pressing straightening and light forming |
Running the Machine
Step 1
Set the work platform beam to the height that leaves the part clear under the ram
Step 2
Support the part squarely on the table or on V-blocks so it cannot tip under load
Step 3
Bring the ram down by hand until it just touches the work
Step 4
Apply pressure progressively and watch the part rather than the gauge alone
Step 5
Release pressure and drive the ram back up on the return stroke before removing the part
Step 6
Check oil level and look for leaks around the cylinder at the start of each shift

Questions About Operated Hydraulic Press MDY100
What pressing capacity does the MDY100/35 have?
Capacity is stated in the model designation MDY100/35. Tell us the heaviest job you press and the part size and we will confirm in writing that this model suits it before you order.
Is the press operated by hand or on an automatic cycle?
By hand. The up stroke and the down stroke of the cylinder rod are controlled manually, which lets the operator stop part-way through a press.
Can the table height be changed for different parts?
Yes. The beam of the work platform moves up and down on a lifting device, so you set the opening to the part instead of packing it up with blocks.
What tooling do I need with it?
Most shops need V-blocks, press pins and adapters for the bearings and bushes they handle. Send us a list of the parts you press and we will quote a tooling set with the machine.
How is the press packed for export?
The press is packed for sea freight from our storehouse in Xi'an. We supply FOB CFR or CIF, so tell us your port and we will quote the freight accordingly.
What are your payment terms?
30 percent by T/T on order and 70 percent before shipment, or an irrevocable L/C at sight.
What is the lead time?
Lead time depends on the configuration and on the order book at the time. Send us your required model and quantity and we will confirm a shipment date with the quotation.
