Overview

What This Machine Does

This full-automatic CNC pipe and tube bending machine runs bending, feeding and rotation as one programmed cycle instead of three separate operator moves. Bending on the Y axis is driven by servomotor or hydraulically, while feeding on the B axis and rotation on the C axis are both servo controlled, so the length between bends and the plane of each bend are positioned by the control rather than by a stop and a scribed mark. A PLC or IPC with an interactive touch screen holds the part program, switches between automatic and manual modes, runs system diagnostics and supports multiple operating languages. Clamp die and pressure die are fully hydraulic, and an adjustable speed valve on the pressure die keeps pressure die travel synchronised with the bend so the outer wall is supported through the radius. An air cooling system keeps the machine stable through long production runs in hot conditions. The range covers pipe from 10 mm up to 220 mm outside diameter, which spans everything from small hydraulic lines to heavy structural tube.

Key Benefits

Why Buyers Choose This Machine

  • Servo control of feeding and rotation removes the manual measuring and marking between bends
  • One programmed cycle produces multi-bend parts so the operator does not re-set for every bend
  • Adjustable speed valve synchronises the pressure die with the bend and protects the outer wall
  • Fully hydraulic clamp and pressure die hold the tube without slipping on thin-wall work
  • Touch-screen PLC stores part programs so a repeat order is recalled rather than reset up
  • Air cooling keeps the hydraulics stable through long runs in high ambient temperature
  • One machine family covers 10 mm to 220 mm outside diameter
Application

Where CNC Pipe Bender Earns Its Place

Problems It Solves

  • Manual measuring and rotation between bends makes every operator produce a slightly different part
  • Unsupported bending collapses or wrinkles the outer wall on thin-wall tube
  • Resetting stops for each bend on a multi-bend part dominates the cycle time
  • Repeat orders have to be set up from scratch when there is nowhere to store the program
  • Hydraulic drift as the machine heats up during a long run shifts bend angles
  • Small and large diameter work often means two different machines

Who It Is For

  • Tube and pipe fabrication shops moving from manual or semi-automatic benders
  • Vehicle and equipment manufacturers producing their own line and exhaust assemblies
  • Hydraulic assembly shops bending pressure lines to drawing
  • Contract fabricators that quote repeat batch work
  • Distributors equipping tube-working lines in export markets

Application Scenarios

  • Producing multi-bend hydraulic and pneumatic line assemblies in batches
  • Bending exhaust and intake tube for vehicle and engine work
  • Fabricating handrail frame and roll-cage tube for structural assemblies
  • Furniture and shopfitting tube bending where finish and repeatability both matter
  • Heat exchanger and boiler tube bending on larger diameters
  • Contract bending where the same drawing returns as repeat orders

Comparison

How It Compares With the Alternatives

Manual or hand-lever pipe benderA manual bender is fine for one-off work but every bend is measured and rotated by hand, so a multi-bend part is only as repeatable as the operator
Semi-automatic hydraulic benderA semi-automatic machine powers the bend but leaves feeding and rotation to the operator; here all three axes run in one programmed cycle
Mandrel-free bending on thin wall tubeWithout a synchronised pressure die and correct tooling, thin wall tube wrinkles on the inner radius and flattens on the outer; the adjustable speed valve is there to prevent that
Use Guide

Running the Machine

Step 1

Fit the bend die clamp die and pressure die for the tube diameter and radius you are running

Step 2

Load the part program on the touch screen or teach the bend sequence in manual mode

Step 3

Set the clamp and pressure die hydraulic pressure for the tube wall thickness

Step 4

Adjust the pressure die speed valve so pressure die travel follows the bend

Step 5

Run one part in manual mode and check bend angle plane and wall condition

Step 6

Switch to automatic mode and run the batch, checking the first and last part of each run

Step 7

Keep the air cooling intake clear so hydraulic temperature stays stable through the shift

FAQ

Questions About CNC Pipe Bender

What pipe sizes does the machine handle?

The range covers 10 mm up to 220 mm outside diameter. A single machine is built for a band within that range, so tell us your smallest and largest tube OD and wall thickness and we will specify the right size.

Is the bend tooling included?

Bend dies clamp dies pressure dies and mandrels are made to your diameter radius and wall thickness. Send us a drawing of the parts you bend and we will quote the tooling with the machine.

Should I choose servo or hydraulic bending?

Servo bending gives tighter angle control and faster cycles; hydraulic bending is simpler and suits heavier work. Tell us your part mix and volume and we will advise.

Does the control support our language?

The control has multiple language capability. Tell us the operating language you need and we will set it before shipment.

What voltage and frequency will the machine be supplied at?

We configure the machine for your market supply. Send us your voltage phase and frequency with your order.

Is the machine certified?

The machine carries CE marking and is manufactured under ISO 9001:2000.

What are your trade and payment terms?

FOB CFR and CIF are all available. Payment is 30 percent by T/T on order and 70 percent before shipment, or an irrevocable L/C at sight.
