Motor Rollers (Motorized / Drive Rollers)
A motor roller puts the gearmotor inside the roller tube, so a conveyor zone drives itself with no external motor, chain or guard. Tianhe supplies AC, DC brushless and direct-drive families in 50, 57, 60 and 76 mm diameters, with galvanized, chrome, PU, NR-coated and stainless tubes, and with sprocket, poly-V, V-pulley, timing pulley and O-groove drive ends for slaving idle rollers.

External drive packages take headroom, need guarding and are the first thing to fail in a wash-down or dusty bay. Moving the drive inside the tube removes the chain run, but it moves the whole selection problem into one part number — diameter, voltage, tube face, speed and coating all have to be right at the order stage.
How to choose
Start with the tube face — it is set by your product width and frame — then the diameter, then speed and voltage. The model code carries all of it: diameter, type, voltage, tube face, rated speed, coating and drive end, in that order.

Can one motor roller drive the idle rollers next to it?
Yes — that is what the sprocket, poly-V or O-groove drive end is for. The number of slaved rollers is limited by the tractive force of the model at your chosen speed.
