How to choose
Confirm the supply first — 1PH220V, 3PH220V or 3PH380V — then pick the type: AS standard, ASs short, or AU accumulation. Rated speed and tractive force move in opposite directions, so choose the slowest speed that meets your throughput.

AS is the standard tube layout, ASs shortens the motor section where the frame is tight, AU adds an internal clutch so the roller can slip while the product accumulates.
Can an AC motor roller be speed controlled?
With an inverter, yes, within the speed range of the specific model. Where fine speed control is central to the line, the DC brushless family is usually the better fit.
